Pastor Gus is a teaching pastor. He earned a B. A. in Biblical Studies at Evangel University in Springfield, MO. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in 1978 and a Doctor of Ministry degree in 1985 at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Ca.
     Pastor Gus served as Director of Youth and Christian Education for two years at Arlington Foursquare Church in Riverside, CA. He then spent twelve years as Director of Christian Education at Fairlane Assembly in Dearborn Heights, MI. Pastor Gus has been the Senior Pastor of Fair Haven since October of 1992. 
     He has served on various state wide and local boards, as well as committees associated with the Assemblies of God.
     Pastor Gus has been happily married to his lovely wife Glenda since 1974. He and Glenda have two grown children, Laura and Peter.
